Elephant Ridge Coffee is a farmer direct company. This ensures you receive premium
coffee fresh to your home whilst the proceeds go directly to the Grower. Our freshly
roasted beans are packed on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast into foil pouches, with a
one way valve and a zip-lock to guarantee freshness.
Every pouch is filled with our premium single origin coffee, direct from the Estates.

HISTORY OF ELEPHANT RIDGE COFFEE

Elephant Ridge Coffee is a family owned company. The first coffee was planted in
Zimbabwe in 1962. The owners of Elephant Ridge Coffee are second generation
coffee farmers, with extensive experience in the industry from seed to cup. Originally
suppliers of premium green bean to the finest roasters in Europe, USA and Japan;
Elephant Ridge Coffee are now roasting their own premium beans.

ORIGINS OF ELEPHANT RIDGE COFFEE

The coffee growing region of Chipinge is in the Eastern Highlands of Zimbabwe, near
the Mozambique border. It lies between Gonarezhou (Gonna-ra-zor) National Park,
“The place of the Elephant” and the majestic Chimanimani Mountains.
Grown at 1000 metres above sea level in deep red soils, the coffee has been
renowned since 1960 as one of Africa's finest specialty coffees.

 

The coffee is sourced and selected from 700 – 1000 tons of green coffee per annum.
A certificate of origin is available upon request.

 

Careful selection of the finest coffees from the regions’ best estates ensures a
flavoursome cup and a smooth, rich after taste; A coffee perfect for any occasion.
